How is the correction carried out?

All corrections, changes or comments to your dissertation are emphasised in colour; therefore it is always recognisable where we had to correct something. In the process of writing and correcting a dissertation we also need to take into consideration certain special demands. A dissertation must correspond to the accepted standards of scientific work. Language, structure, argumentation, citations, etc., of the dissertation are subject to certain rules, which must be kept. What distinguishes Editor A from Editor B?

Most editorial corrections concentrate only on orthography, grammar and writing style. Such editors / proofreaders primarily correct advertising pamphlets, commemorative speeches (…) and only occasionally dissertations. Rarely have they experienced any research work in colleges.
